#NCCRWomen campaign: meet 6 women researchers of NCCR SPIN through their videos

The #NCCRWomen campaign introduces you to various woman researchers working everyday in different Swiss National Centres of Competence in Research. Through these videos and interviews, our female colleagues are showing you who they are, what they do and why they do it. The campaign was initiated in 2021 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of women obtaining the right to vote in Switzerland and continues in 2022-2023, all year round.

This year, NCCR SPIN shares its women researchers’ stories on the week of 8-14 March 2023. Vera Weibel, Qian Ding, Alessia Pally, Lisa Sommer, Paula Sánchez Almagro and Melina Lüthi share their everyday life as a researcher, their research topics and their motivations, to a broader audience. They are working in diverse fields of science from theoretical physics to telecommunication engineering to develop tomorrow’s quantum computers. Check out their portraits on YouTube:

Follow the campaign all year long on TwitterYouTube and Instagram and the hashtag #NCCRWomen to meet other women who work in research in Switzerland, and don’t hesitate to share the videos!
