Candidates

The NCCR SPIN Canvas Grant is aimed at doctoral students and postdocs who are members of NCCR SPIN and wish to participate in public engagement, outreach and science communication programs.

Award

The NCCR SPIN will provide an incentive of up to 2’000 CHF depending on the program and the involvement of the candidate.

The travel costs (economy) for participating in the program will be reimbursed.

The awards are subject to budget availability.

Required documents:

• CV

• Motivation letter including a description of the program and a description of your role within the project

• A letter of support from the candidate’s supervisor

• A confirmation of participation in the outreach program will be asked

All documents should be in English.

Selection

Selection is made on a competitive and rolling basis. The selected candidates are asked to confirm the participation in their project within 2 weeks after receiving confirmation of the grant.

Selected candidates are asked to start their project or training within 6 months after confirmation of receiving the grant.
