NCCR SPIN
Distinguished Visitor Award
The NCCR SPIN distinguished visitor award aims to facilitate scientific visits and collaborations between the NCCR SPIN and the international community for distinguished researchers and professors working in quantum computing and related fields, including both academia and industry.
Conditions
Recipients of the Distinguished Visitor Award are distinguished researchers and professors working in quantum computing and related fields, including both academia and industry who would like to do a short stay in an NCCR SPIN team.
Visitors to this program are invited to give a topical presentation on their field as well as a more technical talk and explore potential collaborations with the NCCR SPIN network. We encourage visitors to stay sufficiently long to facilitate visiting and interacting with researchers also at another SPIN location.
The maximum length of the stay is 4 weeks.
Please note that visitors are expected to be under contract from the home institution and will not receive a contract of employment from SPIN.
The program is open year-round and is available to visitors from anywhere in the world, subject to budget availability.
Financial support
The visitor will be reimbursed for the travel costs, accommodations, and subsistence during the stay.
