The Swiss Quantum Days 2023 will take place on Feb 1-3. The event is co-organized by the EPFL Quantum Science and Engineering Center (QSE), the Geneva Quantum Centre (GQC), the ETH Zürich Quantum Center (QC), and the Basel Quantum Center (BQC). The Victoria Hotel and Residence will host this year’s edition which renews the tradition of years of fruitful and inspiring NCCR QSIT General Meetings, and broadens attendance to all researchers working in the domains of quantum. The goal is to bring together the broad quantum community within Switzerland for scientific discussions among researchers, generating new collaborative ideas, and connecting Swiss academic and industry partners.
This year’s edition will be organised around four topical areas:
Quantum information & communication: Featured speaker: Dr. Grégoire Ribordy, ID Quantique
Quantum computation & simulation: Featured speaker: Prof. Wenchao Xu, ETH Zurich
Quantum sensing: Featured speaker: Prof. Patrick Maletinsky, UniBas
Quantum materials and technologies: Featured speaker: Prof. Ana Akrap, University of Fribourg
Swiss Quantum Days 2023 will also feature a keynote speech by Prof. Jens Eisert from the Free University of Berlin. This event will be a prime opportunity to develop a common vision and strategy to enhance cohesion and visibility of the quantum community.
