2025 was claimed International Year of Quantum Science and Technology by the United Nations, and as such, the Quantum Community around the Globe is busy organizing memorable events to introduce quantum physics to a wide audience.

Being one of the main physicists’ yearly international meetings, this year’s American Physical Society (APS)’s Global Physic Summit celebrated Quantum by hosting a plethora of playful activities around quantum science. The conference took place in Anaheim, California, USA from 16-21st March 2025. The weekend preceding the meeting was dedicated the Quantum Fest, co-organized by our managing director Marilena Longobardi. The event invited the public to discover Quantum realms through performances. The Global Physics Summit featured several activities developed by the NCCR SPIN such as the art and science installation “Birds of Science” and the quantum quest “Save the Cat”.
