Guido Burkard elected APS Fellow

The American Physical Society has elected Prof. Guido Burkard, Professor of Physics at the University of Konstanz, as one of its Fellows in 2024 for fundamental contributions to the theory of semiconductor quantum devices, including spin qubits, hybrid quantum systems, and two-dimensional materials. His research focuses primarily on the theory of solid-state quantum information processing and hybrid quantum systems, in addition to the aforementioned topics. The NCCR SPIN congratulates Guido Burkhard for this achievement which underscores the significance of his research conducted at Konstanz and within our network.
