New NCCR SPIN Mobility Grants open new horizons for your research
Marcel Proust once said, “the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” Well, why not do both?
Whether you want to perform part of your studies in another team in Switzerland or abroad, NCCR SPIN Mobility Grants supports your stay in other institutions across the world, so you can look at your research with new eyes AND see new landscapes.
This year, in addition to our previous Mobility Grants for PhD and Postdocs within the SPIN network, the Mobility Program has been expanded with two new grant schemes: the Internship Mobility Grant for Master’s students and Mobility Grants for PhD and Postdocs who are non-members of NCCR SPIN and who want to perform their research studies in one of the NCCR SPIN teams.
The Internship Mobility Grant is designed for Master's students who are non-members of the NCCR SPIN Network and who wish to complete between 3 weeks and 9 months of internship within a NCCR SPIN team.
The old SPIN Network Mobility Grant and the SPIN Global Mobility Grant develop now into two programs: the Swiss Mobility Grant and the International Mobility Grant, for both SPIN and non-SPIN PhD and postdocs. The Swiss Mobility Grant is cut for PhD students and Postdocs exchanges between NCCR SPIN and research teams based in Switzerland, between 1 week and 3 months. The International Mobility Grant is intended for PhD students and Postdocs exchanges between NCCR SPIN and research teams based outside of Switzerland, between 2 weeks and 4 months.
We accept applications all year round and they will be evaluated on a competitive and rolling basis, so that you can profit from the grant exactly when you need it.
