Call for applications: INSPIRE Potentials Master’s fellowship 2023

A challenging master research project is an important milestone in the career of a researcher. The INSPIRE Potentials – SPIN Master's Fellowship aims to attract and empower excellent female students to conduct their Master's thesis research in one of the laboratories belonging to the NCCR SPIN network on "spin qubits in silicon", i.e. four institutions of excellence: University of Basel, EPF Lausanne, ETH Zurich and IBM Research Zurich.

The NCCR SPIN Master’s fellowship includes up to 9 monthly payments of CHF 2000 and travel expenditures reimbursement for external awardees. The program provides supervision in a stimulating research environment as well as social and networking events with students and researchers from the NCCR SPIN. Our next deadline is coming up: December 1st, 2022.

The initiative seeks to increase the number of women researchers in the fields of the partaking laboratories of the SPIN network, all belonging to fields of science where women are still strongly underrepresented even at the student level.
